At first I was really sad about them leaving the 'cured' mutes as is, but then I thought it made sense. Conflicts like this, going to war, even if the good guys win, they can't ever really go back to how things were before that. There are permanent changes, even if you get to a generally happy ever after :/

I think it fit really well that those that were lost (de-muted) stayed gone. Just like Scarlemagne didn't turn back to Hugo on a dime. It's reflective of reality. Yumyan and the others were lost in the war and to have a fix-it-all solution would've taken away from their sacrifice. This show did such a GOOD JOB!!

Its great that Kipo used the cure to turn Emilia back to normal, and I know that she wants to see the good inside of everyone, but Emilia is not like that. She's the worst person who ever lived. Its nice to see her get absorbed by Fun Gus. That's actually a fitting end for her.

Emilia is too much like Belos. She used a serum to turn herself into a Mega Mute, just like how Belos fused himself with the Titan's heart to become a corrupted version of the Titan. Both of them are trying to get rid of everything they hate by turning themselves into monsters.

I was so scared for the fact about all of the mutes getting cured from the fireworks, but luckily, Kipo was there to save them because the cure doesn't work on her since Emilia used her DNA.

There are so many crossover shoutouts between the shows. Way back in S2E8, there's if you look carefully at the shelves in the basement, you can see a depowered calamity box. Hunter has a plushie which looks exactly like Sprig under his pillow in S2E13. Willow's "swamp toad" textbook in S2E2 has a picture of what looks more like a certain elderly swamp FROG. On Amphibia's side, there's a couple things that sort of looked like Owl House characters (a skull that resembled King's for example), but the unambiguous one was in S3E8 where a monitor shows an artfully blurred, but distinct picture of the Owl House itself.

Between being hit in the fee fees with all the emotional hammers this episode, and that Verosika song at the end.... oof... This is what full moon should have been like. Overall great episode. Verosika is one of my fave characters now too. Especially with her newer punk design over her pop star design she had at her introduction/ Ozzies.
